The signature whitefish dishes are exceptional—the pan-seared Lake Whitefish with lemon butter is something regulars specifically request and it's honestly one of the best preparations you'll find in Northern Michigan. The dining room has large windows overlooking the Strait, and the atmosphere is sophisticated but never stuffy; you'll see dressed-up couples celebrating anniversaries alongside casual groups of friends. Steaks are perfectly executed, and their seasonal specials featuring local vegetables and game proteins show real attention to sourcing quality ingredients.
